This family in Downtown Morganton, NC wanted to transform a steep hillside at the edge of their small backyard into a space where adventure and everyday life could come together. Working closely with the clients, we designed a custom treehouse that incorporated the existing tree on the slope while maintaining easy access to their outdoor firepit and preserving the usable yard space below.

The challenge was creating something exciting and functional without taking away from the limited flat area available. The final design turned a difficult landscape feature into a unique backyard destination, elevating the play experience while keeping the rest of the yard open and enjoyable.
